 November 2-6

It was a week of exploring and practicing using ordinal numbers through problem solving and the weekly calendar. One of our problems was trying to figure out the order the dinosaurs crossed the finished line based on a series of clues. We worked in partners on another problem which had students lining up based on a few clues.
We continued learning about spiders and discovered where they can be found in the world, how they escape danger and in the story the Diary of a Spider, the spider had to practice a vacuum drill which we compared to our fire drill procedures. Using all the facts we have gathered over the past two weeks we then used them to create a poem, “If I Were a Spider”.

Upcoming  Dates:

November 9th – Picture Retakes
November 10th – Virtual Remembrance Day Assembly
November 11th – Remembrance Day - No Classes
November 19th - Parent Teacher Conferences
November 20th - Parent Teacher Conferences - Non Instructional Day
